The glass panorama tower in the Wurbauerkogel visitor centre guarantees a breathtaking panoramic view of the region’s mountains. In clear conditions the 21-m- high tower provides a clear view of 21 2,000-m-peaks. The Kalkalpen National Park exhibition “Faszination Fels” presents extraordinary and impressive things from the flora and fauna above the forest line.

Hinterstoder cable cars

The sport and leisure region Hinterstoder awaits you! Take the cable cars to the Hutterer Böden (1,400 m) and continue up to 1,800 m with the Höss-Express. Amazing tours await you around the reservoir lakes Hutterersee and Schafkogelsee. Passionate mountain bikers and paragliders alike get their money’s worth here – free of charge with the Pyhrn Priel Card!

Wurzeralm cable cars

The Pyhrn Priel Card also allows you to use all Wurzeralm cable cars free of charge, opening up undreamt-of hiking and recreation experiences all summer long. Europe’s fastest cable car travels up to 1,400 m in no time at all, before travelling further up the Frauenkar to 1,800 m by chairlift. Delightful hikes, action on the MTB single trail, the idyllic Brunnsteinersee on the Teichlboden and a climbing tour on the Warscheneck promise wonderful experiences.
